Ronix is an independently operated macOS application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Ronix website, application, and related services.

Ronix records and transcribes audio locally on your Mac.

Your recordings, transcripts, notes, and related files are stored on your device or in a location you choose. We do not routinely receive or store this content on our servers.

You control your locally stored information, including its deletion and backup.

When you use an AI summary feature, Ronix sends the relevant transcript text to your selected AI provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic.

Audio recordings are not sent to those providers for summary generation.

API credentials are stored using macOS Keychain. Third-party providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Ronix uses PostHog for limited product analytics and Sentry for error reporting and diagnostics.

Available privacy settings allow you to control optional telemetry.
