Instead of having three different tools use one app that has it all.

Instead of having three different tools use one app that has it all.

A meeting recorder for calls. A transcription service for files. A dictation app for writing. A notes tool for summaries. Another place to organize everything. Each solves a problem, but moving between them creates work of its own.

We’re building Ronix to bring those jobs together. It’s a transcription app for Mac where you can capture speech, find what matters, and keep your work organized in one private workspace. Less juggling. More time to listen, think, and use what you’ve learned.

ONE WORKSPACE. A CLEAR PATH FROM SPEECH TO ACTION.

Capture speech

Dictation · meetings · imported files

Keep it on your Mac

Transcripts · notes · folders · projects

Choose a useful recap

Optional AI · your provider · your API key

Transcription runs locally. Optional summaries send the meeting transcript to your selected provider; the audio stays local.

01

Voice dictation: Get your thoughts into words

Sometimes you know what you want to say, but typing interrupts the thought. We added voice to text dictation so you can speak a message, draft a paragraph, or capture an idea while working in other apps. Ronix transcribes your speech locally and turns it into text. You can stay with the idea, then review and refine the words at your own pace.

02

File transcription: Use the recordings you already have

Useful conversations don’t always happen while Ronix is recording. They arrive as interview files, saved lectures, recorded calls, or audio someone shares with you. File transcription gives those recordings a place in the same workspace. Import a file, turn it into searchable text, and revisit a specific detail without listening from the beginning. Your existing audio becomes material you can actually work with.

03

A private AI notetaker: Stay with the conversation

Listening closely and taking complete notes compete for your attention. Ronix captures microphone and system audio, then transcribes the recording on your Mac, giving you a record to review afterward. We built this so you can spend more of the conversation understanding what’s being said. Add your own meeting notes alongside the transcript, preserving both the discussion and the context that matters to you.

04

Folders and projects: Keep related work together

A transcript becomes more useful when you can find it again. We added folders and projects so related calls, interviews, and imported recordings can stay together around a client, course, research topic, or ongoing piece of work. Instead of remembering where you saved each conversation, you have a clear place to return to. The workspace follows how you think about your work.

05

Your meeting agenda: See what’s coming next

Your calendar already holds the shape of your day. Ronix displays meetings from Apple Calendar as your agenda, including Google Calendar meetings synced there. We added this to bring upcoming conversations closer to the place where you’ll record and organize them. You can see what’s next and start a recording linked to the meeting, carrying its title and schedule into your record.

06

Useful AI summaries: Match the material to the purpose

A lecture, podcast, and client call deserve different kinds of recap. We added reusable summary templates so you can focus a lecture summary on key concepts, a podcast recap on arguments, or a call summary on decisions and next steps. Customize the instructions around what you need to remember. Optional summaries use your selected OpenAI or Anthropic provider and your own API key; that meeting’s transcript is sent for processing, while the audio stays local.

07

Local storage: Keep your library within reach

Recordings, transcripts, notes, and saved summaries live in your local library. We chose local storage so the record of your work stays on your Mac, ready to revisit. Once speech models are downloaded, transcription can run offline. Cloud summaries remain optional, giving you a clear choice about when meeting text goes to another service.

Why it all belongs together

Ronix brings these capabilities into one workspace because capturing information is only the beginning. The real benefit is carrying it forward: from spoken thought to written draft, from recording to understanding, and from conversation to action, without juggling separate tools.
